What We Mean By Handmade

Every item of jewellery is handmade by myself in my studio. We do not use mass production techniques such as casting here at Jenny Gilbert Jewellery. So when we say handmade it means cutting every tiny component out by hand with a saw, forming with hammers, filing and sanding to clean and soldering components together.  Items may show very slight differences to the photographed images due to these processes, but that is part of the beauty of handmade objects. Every effort has been made to ensure the photographs depict a true representation of the product.

Ethically Sourced Materials

All items are made using eco-silver wherever possible (certain forms of silver are not yet available in "eco-silver" but we are hoping this will chain in the future!). Eco-silver is certified as recycled silver and is bought from a supplier so that we can be sure that we are not contributing to the negative environmental and humanitarian impacts of the mining industry.

The cardboard element of your Jenny Gilbert Jewellery box is recycled. If you do not need this box please recycle or reuse it.

The post packet your Jenny Gilbert Jewellery arrives in has been reused and reloved. We never send any items in a damaged packets, but we do use decorative tape to make them look even better than when we got them.
